What is GOODLOVE all about?
We love to look good, but we love it more when we feel good.
You look your best when you feel your best, and that is what our merchandise is all about.

Our apparel and swimwear aims to cater to a more sophisticated customer who still wants to embody the South Bay look- laid-back, free-spirited, but still able to be modest and trendy. Comfort and quality is our biggest policy, and are the pillars of the GoodLove style - yes, even our swimwear is comfy.
our History.
GoodLove is the creation of a mother-daughter duo from the South Bay. Kim, or "mama" as her kids call her, was born and raised in the South Bay, and after leaving this little corner of heaven for over a decade she eventually returned to raise her three children in Palos Verdes. After spending years in the swimwear business, then owning and managing multiple businesses, she eventually found herself in the perfect position to open a business- this is where Claire comes in, her youngest daughter.
Claire and Kim had always talked about going into business together- what their store might be like, what they would sell- but as time went on these conversations started to take on more tangible ideas. Over the last few years Claire had been working in the wedding industry, as well as fashion and apparel, and as her time in retail grew she realized the creative space she loved the most: merchandising and brand management. And, as luck would have it, the timing couldn't have been more perfect because Kim had just left her 12 year role as the co-owner of another company.
So, it was through many dinner conversations, in many of Riviera Village's restaurants, that Kim and Claire got the idea for GoodLove. Loving the village and it's merchants the way they do, they couldn't think of a better place to start their dream; and given their history, they couldn't think of a better thing to sell: swim and apparel.
Between Kim's time and learned expertise in swimwear, Claire's life-long love and interest in swimwear, and their combined appreciation for quality apparel, they knew they couldn't go wrong. And with that, this mother-daughter duo took their relationship (you can find them together almost all of the time in the village) and turned it into a concept, and then into a reality- a store where both a mother and daughter can walk in and find something that suits them.
